There have been a further 76 number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Ireland.
Health officials have also confirmed that 12 people have sadly lost their lives due to COVID-19.
That brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 24,391.
To date there have also been 1,583 deaths related to the ongoing pandemic.
Yesterday it was revealed that one of Ireland's best loved circus owners has beaten Covid-19 at the ripe old age of 91 after a month long battle with the killer bug.
Tom Duffy, the patriarch of Tom Duffy's Circus, tested positive for coronavirus back in April in a Dublin nursing home.
Mr Duffy, who has beaten cancer twice, was asymptomatic when he was tested.
His battle was made public on April 20 and today the circus' Facebook page today posted a happy update about his condition.
"We have great news," they began.
"Tom Duffy has recovered from Covid-19 and would like to thank you all for your kind messages of support.
"At 91 Covid posed a greater risk to him than other people.
"Though as he said himself, "I've beaten cancer twice and Covid isn't going to get the better of me either".
