Coronavirus Ireland: Heartbreaking photo shows Dublin man forced to look through hospital window at brother who died of COVID-19

This heartbreaking image shows the impact the coronavirus is having on families across the world.

Dublin man Padraig was unable to visit his brother Francis due to restrictions in place to help fight the spread of the contagious disease.

The picture shows him looking at his brother through a hospital window after he sadly passed away from Covid-19.

He opened up about the devastating situation to Joe Duffy on RTE Radio 1's Liveline on Wednesday afternoon.

Padraig and his brothers were also not allowed the carry the coffin due to the infection.

The radio show also shared a poignant video which showed Francis' neighbours applauding as his coffin passed by in a hearse.
