With the country now months into the coronavirus pandemic and all that comes with it it's essential to get some good news.
With plenty of reasons to be downbeat, here at the Irish Mirror we want to give you some to be optimistic.
Here's the latest rundown of good news in Ireland as we enter the summer months.
Death rate dropping
A further 19 people sadly died from Covid-19 in the Republic of Ireland in the last 24 hours.
However that figure is considerably down from the kind of figures Ireland was seeing just two weeks ago and marks the end of a week of lesser death numbers.

Last Monday just 18 people died from the virus in Ireland, again a noted drop.
The curve in terms of cases also appears to have been passed with little over 300 cases on Sunday showing the numbers are dropping considerably.
Immunity boost
Recovered patients are now starting to show signs of immunity, England’s Deputy Chief Medical Officer has said.
Dr Jenny Harries said patients who had tested positive appear to have retained Covid-19-specific antibodies in their systems for at least a month after.
This would come as a huge boost in the worldwide bid to beat the coronavirus.
Light at the end of the tunnel
The first phase of Ireland's opening plan begins on Tuesday as the 2km essential journey limit is raised to 5km and elderly people are allowed outside once a day during cocooning.
Every three weeks after the people of Ireland will be allowed do more and more before the country gets to the end of the plan on August 10th.
It comes as a great relief to the many people who were hoping for some light at the end of this tunnel.
