Former Dublin hurling star and fireman Mick Carton has tested positive for coronavirus - and has warned people to stay vigilant about all the different symptoms of the deadly disease.
Carton, who was part of Dublin's Leinster winning team in 2013 and League winning side in 2011, has been hospitalised with the virus but is thankfully feeling better recently, Dublin Live reports.
But the 35-year-old has warned people to keep up-to-date with looking for all of their symptoms after he tested positive without suffering from any respiratory problems.
The O'Toole's clubman wrote on Twitter: "I have been self isolating for a few days with flu like symptoms, got tested and came back positive for COVID-19 Saturday.
"A few things I've learned, one it's very tough self isolating when you're feeling really sick, texts and phone calls from friends and family really do help.
"Two, the symptoms I had were a headache, chills and fever.
"No respiratory problems, so don't just be looking for a cough.
"I'm in hospital since Saturday, the care was very poor at the start, felt I was just left to my own devices really and not getting better. The care has improved over the last day or so, feel a little better today so hopefully keep improving now."
