A further eight people have died from the coronavirus in Ireland, with just 10 more cases confirmed.
The announcement was made by the Department of Health this evening.
It comes after it emerged that eight Irish hospitals are treating zero confirmed cases of the coronavirus, according to new figures.

There were 330 people hospitalised with either confirmed or suspected Covid-19 at 8pm on Monday night - down from 501 seven days earlier.
There were 187 confirmed cases across 29 hospitals at that time.
However, there wasn't one patient with the virus in Tallaght (Children's), Crumlin, Temple Street, University Hospital Kerry, Sligo University Hospital, University Hospital Waterford, Our Lady's Hospital Navan and Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise.
Just Navan, Mayo, Temple Street and Tallaght (Children's) weren't treating any of the 143 suspected cases on Monday night.
The latest HSE hospital's report shows that The Mater continues to treat the most patients who have contracted the bug with 50.
Tallaght had the next highest with 32, Galway had 12, while Limerick and Beaumont were both treating 11 cases.
Although Crumlin recorded no confirmed cases, there were seven patients there with suspected coronavirus.
In terms of new cases being diagnosed in hospitals, The Mater recorded five in the 24 hours prior to 8pm on Monday.
