There have been over 2,500 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Dublin over the past two weeks.
And cases in the capital have accounted for almost a third of all cases in the country over the last 14 days in Ireland.
More than 8,000 cases have been confirmed in Ireland over the last 14 days with Cork and Dublin combined accounting for almost half of them.
However, both are seeing falls in their incidence rates which is encouraging for health officials. Cork has had 1,183 cases.
The Department of Health last night said that 8,836 cases have been confirmed from October 24 up until midnight November 4.
Amazingly, Leitrim has recorded just nine cases in that period and now has the lowest incidence rate in the country by far - with just 28.1.
Longford and Offaly are the only other counties in the country that have had less than 100 cases in that two week period.
Their incidence rate however is much higher with 168.8 after 69 cases in Longford and 109.0 after 85 cases in Offaly.
However, both are seeing falls in their incidence rates which is encouraging for health officials.

Some 335 new Covid-19 cases were announced on Saturday as numbers continue to drop.
- 155 are men / 177 are women
- 64% are under 45 years of age
- The median age is 37 years old
- 72 in Dublin, 41 in Donegal, 26 in Mayo, 25 in Cork, 23 in Kerry, and the remaining 148 cases are spread across 19 other counties.
