Sligo has gone nearly one month without a single new case of coronavirus.
The last time the county reported a new infection was on Thursday, May 14, according to statistics released by the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC).
This means it has been a staggering 24 days since a new Covid-19 case was confirmed there.
The total number of Covid-19 patients reported in the county stands at 128.
Meanwhile most of Ireland reported zero new coronavirus cases over the previous 24 hours, new figures show.
A whopping 18 counties saw no rise in infections according to the latest statistics released on Sunday.
The data released by the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) covers the period up to midnight on Friday, June 5.
The only eight counties to record new cases over the previous 24-hour period were Cork, Donegal, Dublin, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Meath and Wicklow.
It comes after it was confirmed today that one more person died from the coronavirus in Ireland.
While 25 further Covid-19 cases have been identified here.
The announcement was made by the Department of Health this evening.
There is now a total of 25,201 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.
