Coronavirus Ireland county by county breakdown: Parts of the country beginning to see Covid-19 cases surge

Dublin remains the part of Ireland with the majority of coronavirus cases as its figures grew to 774 in the latest update.

Cork is still the second biggest area for cases with 154, still considerably less than Dublin but well clear of the next county.

Somewhat surprisingly Wicklow has the third highest amount of Covid-19 cases in Ireland with 49 as of midnight on Tuesday - the latest date HSPC data goes up to.

Kerry has also seen a big surge in numbers, as of Sunday midnight the county had 15 cases, this has grown more than double to 39 in just two days.

Louth with 20 cases, Meath, 27, Westmeath, 29 and Kildare, 39, continue to grow with Dublin and all counties surrounding the epicentre of this virus.
