Health authorities have confirmed a further 503 cases of COVID in Ireland today.
38 people who are COVID positive are in ICU.
A total of 101 patients with Covid-19 are currently in hospitals across the country.
The latest figures were announced by the Department of Health this evening.
Meanwhile, Pfizer will start producing Covid-19 vaccines in Dublin as part of a €32million investment.
The move will see 75 new jobs created at its Grange Castle plant before the end of the year.
The company is expanding its European-based facility to be a part of the global rollout of the Pfizer-BioNTech jab.
