Coronavirus Ireland: 358 cases of Covid announced by NPHET

Health authorities have confirmed a further 358 cases of COVID in Ireland today.

39 people who are COVID positive are in ICU.

A total of 102 patients with Covid-19 are currently in hospitals across the country.

The latest figures were announced by the Department of Health this evening.

Meanwhile, the portal to register for a Covid-19 vaccine will open this week for people aged 45-49.

49-year-olds will be able to register to receive their jab from tomorrow, with 48-year-olds able to register from Thursday, and on the way down to 45-year-olds on Sunday.

Registration will be open at vaccine.hse.ie or by calling 1850 24 1850.

All people aged between 50-69 may continue to register for the jab.
