Ireland has recorded its third death from the coronavirus as the number of confirmed cases soared by 191.
There are now a total of 557 affected patients here.
The new figures were announced at a press briefing at the Department of Health on Thursday evening.
A total of three people have died from the illness here, with the third understood to be an elderly woman from Dublin.

Dr Tony Holohan, Chief Medical Officer in the Department of Health, said: “I would like to extend my condolences to the family and friends of this patient.
“It is too early to see any impact of our social distancing measures.
"This data underscores the importance of younger people to rigorously follow public health advice and social distancing measures.”

Yesterday, the number of cases reached 366 as 74 more people tested positive for the illness.
A baby was among yesterday's new cases.
Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan said the third death is a woman in the east of the country.
He added that Monaghan is now the only county that hasn't seen a case of the virus.
There has been 84 cases among healthcare workers, 28 of those picked it up during travel.
The others were exposed in the heatlhcare environment and highlights the risks in taking care of patients.
