The number of coronavirus cases in Scotland continues to fall across the country, according to the latest data.
Public Health Scotland recorded 5,669 cases of Covid-19 in the week between February 6 and February 12. The figure represents 5.7% of people tested for the virus.
Scotland’s seven-day positive rate per 100,000 stood at 103.8 for that week.
East Ayrshire recorded the highest number of cases per 100,000 population at 310.6 over the seven days.

Clackmannanshire, West Dunbartonshire and Falkirk also recorded a high number of infections during that period.
The latest figures come as Nicola Sturgeon prepares to update the nation on the Scottish Government’s review on lockdown restrictions later today.
It is hoped that the First Minister will provide some detail on when the toughest lockdown restrictions can expect to be eased.
Sturgeon is also expected to announce the latest reopening plans for schools across the country.
