The infection rate of coronavirus has increased in the past 24 hours, the latest Government data reveals.
Confirmed cases of the virus in Nottinghamshire jumped from 1,232 to 1,239, as shown in data released on May 13 - the day lockdown measures were eased.
In Nottingham, another three cases were confirmed, bringing the total to 573.
There are now 1,812 confirmed cases of the virus in both the city and county combined.
The infection rate therefore increased in the 24 hours leading up to the day lockdown restrictions were relaxed.
From May 13, the Government is now allowing unlimited exercise, house viewings, playing of some solo sports (or with up to one other member of your household) and travelling to destinations which are further away.
A further 3,242 cases were confirmed today across the UK, bringing the total to 229,705, while the death-toll now stands at 33,186 people.
Figures published by the Office for National Statistics on Tuesday, May 12, show a total of 194 Covid-19 related deaths were notified to the CQC by care homes between April 10 and May 8.
Deaths involving Covid-19 made up nearly half (47 percent) of all deaths in care homes over the period.
