Coronavirus: Indian restaurant offering free meals to homeless in Tallaght during COVID-19 crisis

A Dublin restaurant is doing its part to help the most vulnerable in our society during the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.

Mams Indian Restaurant in Tallaght has promised free meals to homeless people in the area while the coronavirus crisis runs its course.

They made the announcment yesterday, when councillor Anthony Flynn slammed the lack of service provisions in place for homeless during the deadly COVID-19 outbreak.

Mams Indian said: "Please do not hesitate to come to us for a free meal while everything is lockdown due to coronavirus.

"We will serve free food until we can overcome this coronavirus situation."
