The news comes after First Minister Nicola Sturgeon told Parliament this afternoon that Scotland is effectively in "lockdown" in the face of "the biggest challenge" we have faced in our lifetimes.

Ms Sturgeon says the measures announced in recent days are essential to save lives and that if we all comply with these measures then many fewer of us will die.
