Coronavirus in Scotland: Nicola Sturgeon issues COVID-19 warning over these five locations

Nicola Sturgeon has issued a warning today over five locations in Scotland that were likely visited by someone with the coronavirus.

It comes as a COVID-19 outbreak was identified within a Sitel contact tracing centre in Motherwell.

The First Minister confirmed that around 380 members of staff working at the centre have now been tested and 20 tests of either workers or family members have come back positive so far.

Members of staff are now being contact traced and this has meant that the First Minister has announced five locations which someone from the outbreak might have visited.

These are the five locations:

Owens Bar Coatbridge

The Railway Tavern Motherwell

Merlins Bar Motherwell

Costa Coffee Carfin

End. Clothing Glasgow

People who attended any of these places are being urged to be "extra vigilant" and to "isolate and book a test" if they experience any symptoms.

The First Minister has reassured people that all of these locations have been inspected and that due to the appropriate measures being carried out the risk of transmission remains "low."

People working at these five locations have also been advised to self-isolate at home for 14 days.
