The latest numbers of coronavirus in Scotland are published by the Government daily at 2pm.

Areas with coronavirus also include: Tayside (1), Ayrshire and Arran (1), Forth Valley (2), Greater Glasgow and Clyde (1) and Grampain (3).

The Scottish Government has warned up to 80% of the population could become infected, with potentially 4% of this group requiring hospital treatment.

Shoppers in Edinburgh have also begun "stockpiling" groceries and other items, including hand sanitiser, amid mounting fears over the coronavirus outbreak.
