Coronavirus in Scotland Live as COVID-19 deaths increase to 76

The Scottish Government have announced that 16 more people have died from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 76.

The number of cases of confirmed coronavirus in Scotland now sits at 2,310 an increase of 317 since yesterday.

The number of people in critical care has also doubled in the last 24 hours, with 147 people receiving critical care.

The first minister also announced that NHS Scotland have ordered more ventilators which will arrive in the coming weeks.

According to the Scottish Government, Glasgow SECC will be ready as a makeshift hospital "within a fortnight"

Today the government will announce their emergency coronavirus bill.
