Coronavirus in Scotland latest: two further coronavirus deaths recorded in Glasgow city

Two new COVID-19  deaths have been recorded in Glasgow City since the start of September, a day after new restrictions on the city were put in place.

Data from Public Health Scotland shows the new recorded deaths as in the Glasgow City local authority, with one death recorded on the 2nd of September and further recorded on the 3rd.

Local restrictions were placed on Glasgow City on Tuesday the 1st of September.

A further death was recorded in Aberdeen City on the 4th of September.

The data shows the cumulative count of individuals who died within 28 days of their first laboratory confirmed report of Covid-19 infection.

Glasgow Live also reported last month Public Health Scotland data showed two deaths were recorded on the 22nd and 23rd of August in Glasgow City and East Dunbartonshire.

These were the first deaths registered in Scotland from confirmed Covid-19 cases since July 16th.
