We told yesterday how Scotland’s camping and caravan sites are set to reopen next month – but with strict new rules.

Last week it was announced that Scotland now has one of the lowest R values of any UK nation at 0.6-0.8.

This means the killer virus finds it difficult to spread – even from one person to another.

Scotland is currently in Phase One of the Scottish Governments route map for the easing of lockdown.

Sturgeon says there is hope that the country can progress to Phase Two at the end of this week.

Phase Two would allow for the opening up more non-essential businesses with a potential return of beer gardens and outdoor retail.
