Coronavirus in Scotland: contact tracing rolled out at Robroyston's Wallacewell Primary School

Contact tracing has been rolled out at Wallacewell Primary in Robroyston, parents have been informed.

Parents and carers of children at the school received a letter from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde yesterday.

The letter states the NHSGCC is working closely with the school and local authority to "carry out a risk assessment to establish a list of close contacts within the school".

It also states "close contacts are being advised to self-isolate as a precaution" and that there is no control of evidence of transmission within the school itself.

Yesterday, Nicola Sturgeon also confirmed a further 697 positive COVID-19 cases were recorded in the previous 24 hours.

There were no new deaths reported, meaning the country's death toll remains at 2,530.
