Coronavirus in Nottingham - How our readers can find and support local businesses in the city and the county

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to cause widespread disruption, many of us will be forced to self-isolate.

And for those who can't leave their home if they are vulnerable or show signs of illness, you might be looking for local services and businesses to help you.

Our colleagues over at InYourArea have a community site where people can sign up and look for trusted services near their postcode.

The process is quick, easy and you will be able to access a whole host of features including local news, events and petitions by people and groups in your area.

How you can sign up to InYourArea to find local services

After you enter your postcode on the InYourArea website, you can choose the areas you wish to keep updated with.

Afterwards, you can click on the 'Local Services' tab to browse local businesses and services. You can also browse specific categories from architects to wedding services.

How you can join our local business directory

If you want to be part of our trusted service directory and join the hundreds of thousands of other businesses on our site, you can sign up by clicking 'Join our local business directory'.

You will be directed to a page which allows you to advertise your business for £99-a-year which allows you the possibility to reach thousands of potential customers in your area.

Businesses can also get 25% OFF using the code NOT25. The offer expires on April 30, 2020.

You can access the InYourArea website here. You can also download the app which is available for Android and iOS phones.
