The folks over at Down the Hatch are doing their bit to help staff on the frontline during the coronavirus outbreak.
Based in South Queensferry, at Port Edgar, the Canadian diner has been a massive hit thanks to their Instagram-worthy grub.
They have also recently set up shop in McSorley's Irish bar in Edinburgh, serving everything from their infamous poutine to Philly cheese steaks and fried chicken.
The foodie favourites have now announced that, amid the coronavirus outbreak, they will be offering a 40% discount to all NHS staff from today (16 March).
In a post, Down the Hatch said: "Due to the current situation we have decided to introduce a 40% off discount for all NHS staff as of tomorrow.
"It’s the least we can do to help .. our NHS staff will be going through a lot over the next while and this is a small way of saying thanks ! Relevant ID will be required for discount!
"Also, discount will only be applied to those working for the NHS... no, you can’t bring all your friends for a discount.
"We also know that there are many other people involved in this effort , however this will become too difficult to police. You all know we are a business, which needs to cover costs and pay staff. Because of this, it will only apply to NHS staff. Thanks for your understanding."
The Scottish Government confirmed on Sunday there were three new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Lothians since Saturday, with 153 found throughout Scotland.
Meanwhile, panic-buyers have been queuing outside Costco in Edinburgh as shoppers turn to buying products in bulk, leading to shortages in everything from toilet to paracetamol.
