Coronavirus: Idris Elba 'feels OK with no changes' ten days after testing positive

Idris Elba has given fans another update in his battle with coronavirus - but admits there's not much news.

The Luther actor, 47, took to Twitter to share a picture of himself in quarantine, saying that he and his wife Sabrina still feel "OK" and there haven't been many changes since they were diagnosed.

In the photo Idris kept warm in a black hoodie and matching woolly hat and looked happy and healthy as he posed for the photo.

He captioned it: "Hoping everyone is coping with this $@@!! Currently still quarantine.. Sab and I still feel ok so far with no changes.

"Dr told us that after quarantine we will be immune for a certain time."

A follower asked him about his symptoms and he said he hadn't had many.

Headded: "No not really... the day I got tested I had body aches and a headache."

Along with his wife Sabrina, Idris is one of the most high-profile stars to publicly say they have been suffering with Covid-19.

He is understood to have caught the bug while attending an event in London with the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s wife, Sophie, who has also contracted the virus, and Lewis Hamilton, who has also self-isolated.

Sabrina has been self-isolating with her husband and admits she purposely got the virus.

Speaking to Oprah during a live stream for her new Apple TV+ series Oprah Talks at the weekend, she said: "Actually, I found out this morning, Oprah, that I tested positive.

"I'm not surprised, as soon as I heard that Idris was potentially exposed.

"I was on my way anyway and I wanted to be with him, I think that's an instinct as a wife you just want to go and take care."
