The Scottish Government today said that 1155 people have now tested positive for coronavirus in Lanarkshire.
It comes as 1,120 patients across Scotland who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have died.
And 19 people in Lanarkshire were in intensive care at midnight, with confirmed or suspected coronavirus.
The Scottish test numbers for April 23 show a total of 44,799 people have been tested across the country.
Of these:
■ 35,390 tests were confirmed negative
■ 9,409 tests were positive
■ 1,120 patients who tested positive have died
■ 148 patients were in intensive care last night, with 134 of those having tested positive
■ There were 1,748 people in Scottish hospitals with either confirmed or suspected COVID-19 (including those in intensive care).
