The Scottish Government today said that 1454 people have now tested positive for coronavirus in Lanarkshire.
It comes as 1571 patients across Scotland who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have died.
And eight people in Lanarkshire were in intensive care at midnight, with confirmed or suspected coronavirus.
The Scottish test numbers for May 3 show a total of 60,295 people have been tested across the country.
Of these:
■ 48,198 tests were confirmed negative
■ 12,097 tests were positive
■ 1,571 patients who tested positive have died
■ 99 patients were in intensive care last night, with 91 of those having tested positive
■ There were 1666 people in Scottish hospitals with either confirmed or suspected COVID-19 (including those in intensive care).
