Coronavirus: GP surgeries across Lanarkshire will open during Easter

All GP practices across Lanarkshire will open on Good Friday and Easter Monday to help alleviate the pressure on other areas of the healthcare system during these challenging times.

However, please do not attend your practice or community pharmacy if you have symptoms of COVID-19 (coronavirus).

If you’ve developed a new continuous cough and/or a fever/high temperature in the last seven days, stay at home for seven days from the start of your symptoms even if you think your symptoms are mild. Do not go to your GP, pharmacy or hospital.

You should call 111 if: your symptoms worsen during home isolation, especially if you’re in a high or extremely high risk group; breathlessness develops or worsens, particularly if you’re in a high or extremely high risk group; your symptoms haven’t improved in seven days.

If you have a medical emergency, phone 999 and tell them you have COVID-19 symptoms.

Please only attend your GP practice or community pharmacy if you really need to. If you have a non-COVID-19 issue that cannot wait until your GP practice opens call NHS 24 on 111.
