Coronavirus Glasgow: Garnetbank Primary School class self-isolating after positive test

A class at Garnetbank Primary have had to self-isolate after a coronavirus case was confirmed at the school.

The positive test was recorded on September 6, Glasgow City Council confirmed to Glasgow Live.

The class are due back in attendance at the school, which is in Garnethill near Glasgow city centre, at the end of this week or beginning of next week, the council say.

It was advised pupils self-isolate after advice from the Public Health team at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

The case has been confirmed after we reported yesterday NHS Test and Protect has been rolled out at Williamwood High School in Clarkston, with parents and carers of pupils having been sent a letter advising kids and families to self-isolate if they show any symptoms.
