Coronavirus: Gemma Collins urges fans to 'keep calm' whilst sunning it up on holiday

UK supermarkets have been made to ration their toilet roll supplies, as a way to stop shoppers stockpiling products amid coronavirus panic.

As of this week, the illness has killed over 4,000 people worldwide - six of which are from the UK - and infected more than 116,000.

In Spain, cases have trebled to 1,622, whilst Italy has been put on lock down after 9,172 people were infected.

However, reality TV star, Gemma Collins has told fans not to panic as coronavirus continues to spread.

The 39-year-old, who is currently on holiday in Tenerife, posted a message to her Instagram commenting on the lack of toilet rolls in the supermarkets back home.

In the image, she could be seen holding on to one of the rungs of the boat, wearing a leopard print swimming costume.

She wrote: "Happy Sunday beautiful people. This is a message from your QUEEN.... I am speaking ..... I saw a very concerning video that there was no toilet rolls left in the supermarkets whilst being away!!

"This is all I’m gonna say WE MUST KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON ..... #inspirationalwomensday."

The GC isn't the only famous face to have spoken out about coronavirus.

Singer Katy Perry recently shared a video message for her Chinese fans in which she told them to "keep fighting and stay healthy and positive".

The video was uploaded to Twitter by the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus.

However others have been more concerned about the illness, with Renee Zellweger recently cancelling her plans to attend the premiere for her Oscar-winning film Judy in Japan.

The 50-year-old also took interviews over Skype to isolate herself from the virus.
