Coronavirus full breakdown of latest figures for Northern Ireland

The Department of Health have published the latest statistics related to Coronavirus in Northern Ireland.

The dashboard of statistics today sadly confirms a further 11 people have died due to Coronavirus bringing the overall number of Covid-19 related deaths here to 376.

According to the latest figures, Belfast Council area has the highest number of Covid-19 related deaths to date (117), followed by Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon with (41).

As it stands Fermanagh and Omagh have recorded the fewest number of Covid-19 deaths (10).

When broken down by age group, 239 of Covid-19 deaths to date in NI were aged 80+, 119 were aged 60-79, 16 were aged 40-59 and 1 aged 20-39.

52% of Covid-19 deaths in NI have been males and 48% females.

When it comes to testing positive for Covid-19, current figures show 827 positive cases here are aged 20-39, 1,090 aged 40-59, 749 cases have been aged 60-79 and 938 positive cases are aged 80 and over.

Belfast Council area have carried out the most tests to date (5,855) with Fermanagh and Omagh carrying out the fewest (868).

There are currently 739 Covid-19 related inpatients in 19 hospitals across Northern Ireland.

Craigavon Area Hospital currently has 152 Covid-19 inpatients, a further 144 are in Ulster Hospital.

At present 32 patients with Covid-19 or suspected Covid-19 positive are occupying ICU beds here, with a further 32 ICU beds available.
