Coronavirus figures for Northern Ireland broken down by council area

Coronavirus related deaths in Northern Ireland have risen to 518 on Thursday.

With regards to new cases in Northern Ireland, 16 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours which is a reduction of 10 cases since yesterday.

The latest report indicates that one of the deaths was reported in Causeway Coast and Glens, while the other fatality occurred in the Ards and North Down district.

Breakdown of individuals with a Laboratory Completed Test by LGD:

An additional 506 samples were also taken from National Testing Centres across the country including SSE Arena.

At present there are six people in ICU in Northern Ireland with confirmed or suspected Covid-19.

105 patients remain in hospitals here with confirmed Covid-19, while a further 485 inpatients are being treated for suspected coronavirus.

To date Northern Ireland has reported 4,679 cases of coronavirus.
