Coronavirus figures for Northern Ireland broken down by council area

The latest figures released by Department of Health have sadly revealed a further three Coronavirus related deaths in Northern Ireland.

Two of the people who died were aged 80 and over while the other person was aged between 40-59.

According to the latest dashboard, the three deaths were recorded in Belfast (1), Newry, Mourne & Down (1) and the third death was recorded as 'not known' in terms of council area.

There have been 438 deaths linked to Coronavirus across our communities, taking the lives of 226 males and 211 females. The gender of one individual is unknown, the Department reports.

As of 10am on Monday, May 11, there were 676 patients in 19 hospitals across Northern Ireland with Coronavirus, that's an increase of 15 since yesterday.

At present there are 19 patients with confirmed or suspected Covid-19 in ICU.

In Care Homes in Northern Ireland, at present there are 76 confirmed cases of Coronavirus and 38 suspected cases.

A further 30 people have also tested positive for Coronavirus in NI with an additional 806 people also tested for the virus.

315 new samples have also been taken from the National Testing Centres across the country.

To date, 4,139 people in Northern Ireland have tested positive for Coronavirus.
