Coronavirus fears hits Real Housewives of Cheshire as cast members forced to isolate

The impact of coronavirus has hit The Real Housewives of Cheshire with members of the cast forced to isolate.

Production company Monkey has confirmed some cast members on the hit ITVBe reality show are having to isolate after cameras started rolling on the latest series.

They declined to disclose which cast members have been affected.

However, filming has been able to continue on the 12th series of the docudrama with those unaffected.

A spokesperson said: "It has been our top priority to keep all cast and crew safe by following stringent COVID-19 protocols and the latest guidelines.

"Some of the cast of The Real Housewives of Cheshire are having to isolate.

"However, we are able to continue filming with those unaffected in a safe manner."

Last weekend Dawn Ward, one of the original cast members since the show launched in 2015, told us that she had stepped away from filming after she and her family had tested positive for coronavirus following a family holiday and has been self-isolating since jetting home.

She said she felt 'shocking' after she and her husband Ashley and their two youngest daughters were struck down.

After they flew home from Mykonos the Real Housewives star started feeling ill.

The family were tested and within 24 hours they received the news they had COVID-19.

Dawn, 47, Ashley, 49, Charlie, 13, and Aston, 11, have since been self-isolating at home at Warford Hall, Cheshire.

She said: "I used to think 'I'm not going to get it.'

"But how wrong was I?"

Dawn and Ashley suffered headaches, fever, high temperature, sweats and stomach cramps, and former footballer Ashley has also had a cough and tight chest.

Charlie also had a temperature and suffered from aches and tiredness and youngest daughter Aston suffered headaches.

Today Dawn updated fans with a video on her Instagram as she revealed her quarantine had ended after two weeks in bed.

"Right I'm gonna shake this coronavirus off today," she said into the camera.

"I'm officially allowed out of quarantine.

"I've done two weeks in bed. I've not eaten, I've not drunk any alcohol for 16 days and I've only lost four pounds.

"Life is just not fair and I think two pounds of that is my hair extensions."
