Coronavirus: Dublin dad left red-faced in zoom work meeting as teen daughter forgets to change nickname about 'arse' in viral tweet

Zoom parties and quizzes have become all the rage in the last two months as staying in becomes the new going out but one Dublin girl left her dad red-faced during his work meeting after her recent zoom gathering with friends.

Finglas teen Louise Delaney saw her tweet go viral after her funny name change on her father's account remained on his zoom as he called in for an early morning work meeting.

A few nights before, the 19-year-old was on a call with her friends from college.

They all changed their names to "random shite" as Louise put it herself and she decided 'fattest arse in Killester' would get a good few laughs among the girls.

Fast forward to Thursday morning and Louise's dad bursts in the door panicking, wondering how he can:

A) Change the name on his zoom ASAP; and

B) Recover from the mortification of his colleagues spotting the new name.

Louise explained to Dublin Live how the whole situation went down.

She said: "Well I was using his laptop (never again by the way) and it wasn’t until two days after he went on to his zoom that he found out.

"He entered a work call and the other people kept saying 'who is the fattest arse in Killester'.

"My dad also did not know who it was because his video wasn’t on yet and when he realised he hung up straight away.

"He had to run into me because he didn’t know how to change his name back to normal."

Thankfully, Louise's dad can see the funny side of it now but at the time she thought she was brown bread.

"When it happened, he was so in shock and to be honest I’d say he wanted to kill me but we have been laughing about it ever since.

"He just keeps saying 'thank god it wasn’t an interview or anything serious'."
