A drug-fuelled Dublin driver who ignored the restrictions put in place by the Government was nabbed by Gardai due to his suspicious activity.
The two men inside the car were travelling from the capital on a non-essential trip when they were stopped at a COVID checkpoint by officers on the N11 near Ashford.
Gardai said they became suspicious of the driver and after carrying out tests, they discovered cocaine in his system.
A spokesman added that the two men should have definitely stayed at home.
