A congressman now in self-imposed isolation flew on Air Force One with Donald Trump today.
Matt Gaetz travelled on the President's person jet as it made its way from Orlando to Washington.
While the plane was still in the air the Republican was told that he had come into contact with a virus-carrier while at a political conference in Maryland last month, The Guardian reported.
Both he and fellow Republican Doug Collins of Georgia announced that they would spend two weeks in isolation in a bid to stop the virus' spread if they are infected.
Collins, who may have been exposed to the same person as Gaetz, met Trump with a handshake at Atlanta airport on Friday.

Both congressmen have said they do not have symptoms associated with coronavirus.
Trump took to Twitter on Monday morning to try and downplay the threat of the coronavirus as the stock market fell dramatically.
"So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu," the American President wrote.
"It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on.
"At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!"

Earlier Trump claimed that the virus is contained in the US, which is not true.
The rate of confirmed infections is rising steeply, with more than a hundred cases logged on Sunday.
Combined with an oil price crash, fears of a pandemic caused the Dow Jones stock market to have its worse day since 2008.
It tumbled 7.8% before a morning trading halt, CNN reported.
Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell took to the floor this morning to try and calm fears about the virus' spread.
"This is not a time for fear," the majority leader said.
"It is a time to continue calmly scaling up the serious and smart preparations that have already been under way so the United States can continue working to blunt, slow and mitigate the spread within our borders."
