The death of a patient at the St Helens and Whiston hospital Trust is the only new coronavirus fatality recorded at the region's hospitals.
The single new death takes the Trust's covid-19 death toll to 208.
While there were four additional coronavirus deaths added to Liverpool's hospital total in yesterday's update, today saw no further deaths added.
All other Trusts covering our region remained the same as well, and are as follows:

NHS England said that across English hospitals, a further ten deaths had been recorded.
A spokesperson said: "Patients were aged between 50 and 97 years old. All had known underlying health conditions.
"Their families have been informed."

Today's update comes from NHS England and only refers to deaths in English hospitals.
The government was previously announcing the number of total deaths, including in all settings such as care homes and in communities.
But on July 17, Secretary of State Matt Hancock asked Public Health England (PHE) to urgently review the way daily death statistics were being reported.
PHE said it is pausing the publication of the daily figure while this review takes place.
