Coronavirus infections across the Bristol region have now hit a six-month low.
The latest figures show 25 new cases were confirmed across our city today (March 3). The last time daily totals were fewer than 30 was in September.
South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, and Bath and North East Somerset all reported low daily tallies as well, with 24, 11, and six respectively.
Data from the Department of Health also shows a further two deaths have been recorded in our city over the past 24 hours.
Another Covid patient has died in North Somerset.

Bristol's Covid rate per 100,000 people stands at 81.6 - slightly below the national average of 91.4.

UK figures
A further 315 coronavirus deaths have been recorded in the UK.
This is down by more than 25% on last Wednesday when 442 fatalities were announced.
The number of new deaths over the last seven days has gone down by 951 in a week - a drop of more than a third.
Coronavirus cases are up by 6,385 today, which is way down on the 9,938 reported last Wednesday.
