Coronavirus crisis: Ulster delay sale of season tickets for 2020/21 campaign

Ulster Rugby has taken the decision to delay the sale of 2020/21 season tickets to supporters due to the global COVID-19 outbreak.

Tickets for next season were scheduled to be made available on Monday (March 16), but Kingspan Stadium chiefs have now shelved those plans.

The Guinness PRO14 season is currently in a state of flux with Ulster’s next two league fixtures against the Dragons and Warriors on March 20 and 27 postponed.

Major question marks also hang over the province’s Heineken Champions Cup quarter-final with Toulouse at Stade Ernest Wallon on April 5.

Champions Cup organisers, the ERCR, are continuing to monitor developments in relation to COVID-19 and has said it will issue an "update regarding the matches as soon as practicable."

Ulster said the move to delay season ticket sales was made “amid the ongoing postponement of the current PRO14 season and the uncertainty around the impact of COVID-19 on future matches.”

A statement added: “The club will await further clarity on this season before progressing with the sale of Season Tickets for 2020/21.

“The club will be in contact with current Season Ticket holders with regards to any rescheduled fixtures in due course and in the event of any game being cancelled.”

An update on revised timings for 2020/21 Season Ticket sales will be communicated as soon as practical via Ulster’s website and social media channels.
