Coronavirus Ireland county by county breakdown: List of cases in each area as region sees surge

Dublin's coronavirus cases continue to surge with their figure of 1,838 far and above the rest of the country.

Cork's figure is now 272 and remains the second biggest Covid-19 in the entire country.

Munster as a whole has been seeing a surge in recent days as many counties double and treble cases figures.

Limerick, 94, is now the third worst hit area in the country while Tipperary, 91, and Kerry, 72, are surging.

Galway is the worst affected area in the west of Ireland and their figure now stands at 91.

All these figures are correct according to the HSPC's latest data up until midnight, March 31st.

The number of virus related deaths in the Republic now stands at 98.

A total of 3,849 people in Ireland have tested positive for the bug since the outbreak began.
