Coronavirus contact tracing being undertaken at Blairdardie Primary School

Contact tracing is being undertaken at another primary school in the Greater Glasgow area.

A confirmed case of coronavirus has been found at Blairdardie Primary.

There is not believed to have been any transmission within the school itself.

Public health, education departments and environmental health teams are working together to support the school and families affected.

A list of close contacts is being established and are being contacted by Test and Protect teams and told to self-isolate.

Apart from those who are identified as close contacts, all other pupils and staff can continue to attend as normal.

Members of the public and school community are asked to remain vigilant.

Only people who are experiencing symptoms are asked to book a test. A nyone with one or more of the symptoms should immediately self-isolate and order a test on the NHS inform website  www.nhsinform.scot.
