Coronavirus challenges: Pro boxer lays down a wildly impressive medicine ball challenge

With people around the world being advised to stay at home and avoid all gatherings to help curb the spread of coronavirus, we’ve seen the rise of a few viral sports challenges you can perform at home to stave off boredom and stay active. Trae Young launched the #InHouseChallenge by shooting socks into a trash basket, runners are trying to create “soap treadmills” in their kitchens, and Lionel Messi is juggling a precious roll of toilet paper.

Shakhram Giyasov, a silver medalist at welterweight in the 2016 Olympic Games from Uzbekistan, has taken coronavirus challenges to a completely new level. Giyasov had a trainer drop an 18-pound medicine ball at eye level, and somehow kept the ball in the air for a full five seconds by alternating left and right uppercuts. If you live above other people, you might not want to try this one at home.
