There has been almost 600 coronavirus cases confirmed across the Bristol region in a single day on the eve of England's next lockdown.
Bristol saw the biggest jump, with 312 new infections recorded over the past 24 hours (November 4).
This figures compares to just 10 people being diagnosed with the virus per day at the beginning of October.
South Gloucestershire also reported a spike in cases, with 136 confirmed today.
Between October 22 to 28, 1,897 infections were recorded in Bristol alone.

Data also shows, across the South West, 544 Covid-19 patients were admitted to hospitals between October 19 to 25.
The UK's Covid-19 death toll has jumped by 492 today in the highest daily rise for over five months.
New coronavirus cases soared by 25,177 and 1,421 patients were admitted to hospital in the past 24 hours, new government figures show.
Today's increase in fatalities is the highest since May 19 when 500 people were reported to have died with Covid-19.
The death toll in all settings now stands at 47,742.
