The total number of coronavirus cases in the UK has soared to 798 after a further 208 were diagnosed in the last 24 hours.
The latest figures come after Boris Johnson said the government was moving from 'contain' to 'delay' in its fight to stop the spread.
As of 9am today, a total of 32,771 people had been tested.
Ten patients who tested positive in the UK have died - the Mirror UK reports.
Wales earlier announced 13 new cases, taking the total number of infections there to 38.
While the number of confirmed cases stands at 798, it as been suggested up to 10,000 people could be unknowingly carrying the bug.
Dr Hilary Jones urged the government to reconsider their new advice and decisions regarding the latest talks.
This comes a day after 27 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
It brings the number of cases in the country to 70.
The announcement was made at a Department of Health briefing in Dublin on Thursday evening.
Two of the new cases were caused by community transmission, while three were associated with travel.
22 of the cases were associated with local transmission.
It comes after it was confirmed schools , third level colleges and childcare facilities are set to close across Ireland from 6pm on Thursday as fears over coronavirus grow and Ireland enters "uncharted territory".
