Nicola Sturgeon will give Scots the latest update on lockdown restrictions amid a ‘slight increase’ in the number of people testing positive for coronavirus.
The First Minister is set to reveal a series of dates for when the likes of bars, restaurants and shopping centres could reopen in Scotland.
But Scots have been urged to continue sticking with the rules as the latest Public Health Scotland data shows case numbers of the rise once again.
Figures released by health officials shows that 3,988 positive Covid cases were recorded in Scotland in the week between March 6 and March 12. The figure represents 3.3% of people tested across the country.

The seven-day positive case rate per 100,000 population for the entire country stood at 73.0 during that period - which is a rise of 11.0 on the week previous.
Stirling recorded the highest case positivity rate during the seven days, with Glasgow, North Lanarkshire, East Renfrewshire and South Ayrshire not far behind.
Only Orkney and the Shetland islands recorded no cases during that period.
Scotland’s chief medical officer Dr Gregor Smith said today that he was “not overly concerned” by the slight uptick in cases.
