Cases have continued to rise in all boroughs of Greater Manchester, the latest Public Health England figures show.
Oldham recorded a rate of 557.1 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending July 2, overtaking Manchester as the borough with the highest rate of transmission.
Bolton still has the lowest infection rate in the region with 299.4 cases per 100,000 people.
Greater Manchester as a whole has an infection rate is now 457.7 cases per 100,000 population.
The figure is higher than the national average, which is 249.6 cases per 100,000 people.
