Coronavirus case rates for every single Leeds postcode - with increases in 25 areas

An interactive map detailing coronavirus case rates in the city shows the exact areas to see increases and decreases over the past seven days.

Yorkshire has some of the worst coronavirus infection rates in the country, with Leeds' rates among the highest in the county.

It comes as talks get underway for how the current national lockdown will be lifted in England, with Matt Hancock suggesting tier 3 rules will be toughened after December 2.

This could be bad news for Leeds, which currently has a Covid-19 infection rate of 455.3 per 100,000 people.

There have been several warnings from council leaders for lockdown to be followed as all attempts are made to free up the hospitality industry ahead of Christmas.

On Sunday, Leeds had recorded the highest number of Covid cases in 24 hours, with 533 new cases confirmed.

The below figures shows each area in Leeds with their seven-day rates, how many cases they have recorded, the increase in percentages and how many people have tested positive.

The seven-day rates are expressed per 100,000 of the population and are calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.
