Coronavirus: Britney Spears begs struggling fans to DM her for quarantine support

Britney Spears has urged her struggling fans to drop her a message if they need support during the coronavirus pandemic.

The iconic songstress, 38, gave Instagram followers some kind words as she told them to reach out if they feel lonely during self-isolation amid COVID-19 panic.

The Toxic singer revealed she was nominated by her little sister Jamie Lynn Spears to do the Do Your Part challenge.

The social media game encourages people to help others while they spend time in quarantine at home.

Alongside a stunning video clip, she wrote: "So our world is going through such hard times right now, and my sister just nominated me to help people.

"Whether it's with food or I'm getting your child diapers, or whatever it is, DM me and I will help you out."

Britney received lots of comments telling her she's a "generous queen" as she offered her support to masses of people.

The superstar has finally jumped on the bandwagon as she followed the footsteps of other celebs.

Nick Jonas and his wife Priyanka Chopra shared a similar message to their Instagram fans during the difficult and unclear circumstances.

He told his 29 million followers: "Hi everyone, I know it's an unsure time for all of us, but hope you're doing OK, we're sending you positive vibes."

His stunning wife added: "And let's just take care of each other and I hope everyone is safe out there."

Rihanna has also pledged to send $5million to coronavirus relief to aid those in need - including health workers.

Ariana Grande and Kanye West are also generously splashing the cash to help support charities through the outbreak of the deadly bug.

The UK's death toll has increased to 240 after  seven more coronavirus patients died in Wales.
