Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan has urged fans to do more to protect themselves from the deadly coronavirus after he discovered he had contracted the illness himself.
The 58-year-old is an original member of iconic rock group Bon Jovi - who first burst onto the music scene with debut single Runaway.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the rocker revealed he had tested positive for the illness.
Sharing a photo of himself wearing a bright coloured scarf, the star gave something of an upbeat report on his health - before warning fans to take care of themselves.

"I just got my results back today and tested positive for corona virus," the star wrote in the caption of the photo.
"Please don’t be afraid!!!" he continued.
"It’s the flu not the plague. I’ve have been quarantined for a week and will for another week," he revealed.

"And when I feel better I’ll get tested again to make sure I’m free of this nasty virus. Please help out each other. This will be over soon... with the help of every American!!" he added.
Bon Jovi frontman, 58-year-old Jon Bon Jovi, was among the first to wish the musician well.
"Feel good my brother," he wrote in the comments section of David's post.
