Patients have been asked to think carefully about their method of travel to receive Covid vaccinations across Ayrshire.
Three centres open for mass inoculations on Monday in Ayr, Kilmarnock and Dreghorn.
And bosses at NHS Ayrshire & Arran have stressed the importance of playing it safe.
From next week, patients aged 65 to 79 will be welcomed through the doors of the mass vaccination venues.
And a total of 38 sites will open throughout February and into Spring.
Health chiefs confirmed today that a vaccination appointment is an essential reason to leave your home during the current heightened COVID-19 restrictions.
But they confirmed patients should arrive, with their appointment letter, as close to their allocated time as possible.
And where possible, they advise against car sharing with anyone outwith your household.
NHS Ayrshire & Arran head of organisational resilience, Lorette Dunlop, said: “Our teams are well prepared and ready to begin delivering vaccinations from next week and we want everyone offered an appointment to come forward for it.

"There are 38 locations around Ayrshire where appointments are being allocated – these centres have been identified to best serve our communities and take into account the geography and population spread of Ayrshire.
"We’re working closely with SPT and our local authority colleagues to review current transport services and strengthen these where possible to support citizens accessing their pre-designated centres.
“Please think about how you will travel to your appointment when you receive details of when and where this will take place.
"If you cannot attend your appointment for whatever reason please follow the instructions on your letter to reschedule it to another date/time or venue.”
